Nino DiCosmo is president of the Public Safety and Professional Communications (PSPC) business unit for L3Harris Technologies’ Communication Systems segment, reporting to the president of Communication Systems. Communication Systems covers a broad portfolio, including tactical and airborne radios, night vision technology, and defense and public safety networks. DiCosmo joined L3Harris as president in 2016. He is responsible for the day-to-day management of the PSPC business, with a focus on driving top-line growth and margin expansion; developing worldclass program and project management capabilities; and significantly enhancing customer intimacy through superior product and service quality. Previously, DiCosmo was the president and general manager of Honeywell’s Tridium subsidiary. Before joining Honeywell, he spent several years at New World Systems Corporation, where he was ultimately appointed to the position of senior vice president and general manager of the company’s public safety business. DiCosmo has also held several senior level general management, operations and business development positions, based both within the United States and abroad, with Trubiquity, General Motors, FleetScape.com, and EDS Corporation. DiCosmo holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan, a Master of Science degree in information systems management from Carnegie Mellon and a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Oakland University.
