Ken is a member of Omdia's security technology, safe cities, and critical communications team and covers the critical communications broadband markets bringing LTE/5G technology to emergency responders and mission-critical enterprise operations.

His research includes the network infrastructure, devices, applications, and services supporting the LTE/5G capabilities required during mission-critical operations. Key topics tracked by Ken include the ecosystem’s embrace of 3GPP Release 13 mission-critical push-to-talk, mission-critical Internet of Things, and the impact of 5G New Radio. Before joining Omdia (formerly IHS Markit) in 2019, Ken operated an analysis firm focused on critical communications topics. He is a long-standing mobile infrastructure expert who has covered 2G/3G/4G/5G radio access network evolution since 2002. He holds a degree in public administration from the University of Maryland.
